In Exodus, the story of how Moses was born and was found the the daughter of the pharaoh. Then when he is older he leaves Egypt and goes to Midian. He marries the daughter of a priest of Midian and has a son. God then come to Moses and tells him to go back to Egypt and lead the Israelites out of Egypt to the promise land. Moses and his brother Aaron go to Egypt to talk to the pharaoh. The plagues are also described. Then passover is described too. They were to take a lamb for each household and take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of there doorframes. This was so when God came at night he would pass over there house when he came to strike down the firstborns. Then the pharaoh tells Moses and Aaron to leave with the Israelites. Pharaoh then changes his mind and has his army go after them. Then there is the parting of the Red Sea, so that they could escape pharaoh's army. Exodus also tells about the commandments that were give to Moses by God. It also tells about the covenant of the ark and the tabernacle. The story of Mount Sinai and the giving of the tablets is in Exodus too.
